Notice biographique
Eleonora Diamanti est doctorante en Sémiologie à l'Université du Québec à Montréal. Ses intérêts de recherche portent sur la relation entre le design urbain, la culture matérielle et le discours politique dans le contexte de spectacularisation des villes contemporaines. Elle participe aux activités du SenseLab (Concordia) et est membre du Célat (UQAM). Elle s'intéresse également aux interventions artistiques questionnant l'utilisation et la réception de l'espace urbain.
Eleonora Diamanti is a doctoral student in Semiotics at the University of Quebec in Montreal. She takes a special interest in the connection between urban design, material culture and political discourse within the context of the specularization and commodification of contemporary cities. She takes part to the activities organized by the SenseLab (Concordia) and she is a member of Celat (UQAM). Other interests include artistic practices questioning use and reception of urban space.
